The exhibition

Picasso.
The Revolutionary Gaze.

More than one hundred works reveal Pablo Picasso’s extraordinary ability to reinvent visual languages, techniques and forms of representation. Oils, lithographs, etchings, ceramics, photographs, archival documents and posters span more than seventy years of artistic research.

100+ works

A broad journey across the many facets of the artist’s production.

5 sections

Five chronological and thematic chapters linking biography, experimentation and civic engagement.

Guernica

A section devoted to the genesis of the work and to the civic power of images.

Seventy years of
experimentation.

Picasso moved through painting, printmaking, ceramics, publishing, theatre design and visual communication, refusing to settle into any definitive form. The exhibition connects technique and biography, Mediterranean memory, experimentation and the construction of his public image.
